Red Coat

Red coat is a classic piece of statement in winter. I bought this one from ASOS two years ago. I love the shade of this red. It brightens up the winter easily. I like to mix dressy pieces with causal wear. So today I wear a a&f sweatshirt underneath. A faux leather legging with the red Nike sneakers. The hat is borrowed from my daughter.

Pink Pleated Maxi Skirt

This pink pleated maxi skirt is from H&M. It's very good quality, think enough to wear in winter and the color is just gorgeous. I wear it with Striped top and knee high boots underneath to keep my legs warm.

All grey with pop of red

I can say that grey is one of the most popular color in my wardrobe. I have 50 shades of grey, well, almost.
Today I'm wearing my newly bought J.Crew cashmere T with J.Crew wide leg wool culottes that I bought last year. Collarless wool coat is from Madewell last year. I always like to add a pop of color when I wear all grey, and pop of red is my favorite with grey. Either shoes or handbag will do!

H&M parka

I like shopping at h&m. At age 40+ although your choices at this young and trendy shop is very limited, once in a while you'll find a surprisingly good quality and cool piece like this army green parka I found couple days ago. It's good quality. Not super heavy and warm but because it's loose and roomy style you can definitely layer under neath it. Mine is XS. It's sold out online but check your local store. I picked up mine from a store near me.

Faux fur coat

I found this cream color faux fur coat in Nordstrom rack. It feels great, makes you warm. Style with wide leg jeans to give that 70's feel (on me) ; or put in on top of your holiday dress and ready to go out to party (on my daughter).

Tulle Skirt for holiday

I am ready for holiday! Dressing for holiday parties always makes me excited. I grabbed this beautiful tulle skirt from Anthropologie during their Thanksgiving sale. Love it! With a little sparkle, little pop of red, I am ready to party!

Parka Season

It's parka season! I bought this parka from Abercrombie and Fitch a few years ago. Since then each winter it has been the most worn winter coat of mine. I love the warmth of it and the style. Casual yet classy.

Cat and Gen

Catherine just turned 10. The annual check up at the doctor's office shows that she's a little under weight. So the doctor gave the order to fatten her up a little. Her height is 57'; weight is 72lb.

Cresskill is our home. - by Genevieve

Why do you like living and learning in Cresskill?
I love Cresskill! It is the best town to live in because I met my best friends here. They are awesome, terrific, nice, funny and they cheer me up when I am blue. Cresskill is full of people I love, especially my family, friends, and teachers. It is a quiet town with fun things to do. Cresskill is so special to me. I'm so glad that I live here. My mom is from China and my dad is from Brooklyn, New York. My brother, sister and I were born here. I hope we never move! My house is 50 years old. My parents moved here in 2002. My parents think it is nice to live in Cresskill. That is why they moved here. I agree with them. My brother and I play little league baseball, and my dad coaches. My sister plays soccer. We always march in the Memorial Day parade. My siblings and I also play basketball. We eat at Cresskill Pizza and a lot of other delicious food locations. There are nice playgrounds and ball parks for kids. Policemen and crossing guards help people get to places safely. Cresskill is not as noisy as the city or as quiet as rural areas.
I love to learn in Cresskill because I could clearly understand my teachers. They make learning fun. I love to learn Math, writing, and Art. School is awesome!
These are many reasons why I love to live and learn in Cresskill.

Memorial Day 2015

We have been marching the Cresskill Memorial Day parade since when Michael's in pre-school. This year Catherine marched with her girl scout troop; Gen with her baseball team(Dodgers) and Michael with his baseball team(A's).
